Comment: the hard part was getting off the protective coating so it could be seasoned. once seasoned the pan is a pleasure to use on our induction cook top. a light swipe of olive oil heat the pan drop the eggs & nothing sticks. cleanup is a breeze.. hot water wipe it dry with a paper towel apply a super thin coat of oil & it's good to go for the next meal.

Comment: This is an awesome pan. Just season it according to the instructions included and then treat it well and it will reward you with many years of great performance. Never use soap - just use hot water and a scrubbie to take out any food, dry it well and add a thin film of grapeseed oil or any other oil and put it away. Truly nonstick when you take care of it. Love this pan!

KM Response: I understand the confusion. Fry pans are measured from the opening at the widest point, as opposed to the bottom, which is the actual cooking surface. However, these conduct heat extremely well. Don't hesitate to lay a fish filet along the bottom and up the sides of the pan. You'll still get nice even browning.
