Thermohauser Silicone Pastry Brush is made with a Polyurethane handle reinforced with Fiberglass. The detachable brush head is heat resistant up to 425F.
We had never carried silicone brushes before because I just doesn't like the performance. They simply don't hold enough sauce. But this brush has 5 rows of bristles that taper in thickness and perform exceedingly well. An excellent choice for barbecue, and they can be cleaned easily and thoroughly. The cleanup is the best feature of a silicone brush and this one goes right into the dishwasher.
