The F. Dick 10 in. Oval Fine Cut Steel with non-slip handle is very unique. Rather than straight grooves, the patterning resembles a series of "S" shapes. This does and excellent job of removing a burr and smoothing an edge without leaving micro-serrations. Works well for German steels and highly recommended for Japanese knives. Also available in 12 in. length
