Comment: I was looking for something to finish a maple countertop that would not be chemical and would be safe for food prep yet give a beautiful finish. The product goes on nicely and looks good, until it gets water on it. Even if you wipe it right off it leaves a smear or a spot. The good news is that if I wipe a thin coat of the product over the counter it restores the nice look. I just don't like having to do this daily.
