Comment: Nice knife--stays sharp, good design. The handle IS surprisingly large, but I've large hands and like wood handles for cold butchering work so no worries. I was a bit annoyed when it came in a box labeled "fillet knife" because I'd seen no mention of that on-line. But, then I remembered the 1000lb tuna that Japanese "fillet" so I figured this knife could handle a 200lb deer. It did--no problem. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase: Great quality, excellent value.

Comment: Right proportions, right degree of flex, man sized handle, very sharp a d stays sharp. You won't find a better one at any price.

Comment: This is a much larger knife than i expected and has a very generous handle. The fine tip and sharp edge are excellent and I have used it to great effect on a range of tasks from boning out legs of lamb to removing the silver-skin of fillet of pork. I can't wait to use this to bone out poultry for a turkducken at Christmas!
